Shoppers who frequent any one of Mike’s Wine & Spirits’ three locations in Westport, Brookside, or Waldo will not be surprised to learn that the 20+-year-old Kansas City business has won three “favorites” awards from two of the city’s leading publications.
KC’s Best Shop Dog – Ramen
The Kansas City Star recently recognized Mike’s as “KC’s Best Liquor Store”, and KC Magazine, the monthly chronicler of all things on-trend and in-style, named Mike’s as “Kansas City’s Best Wine Shop.” Not only that, Ramen, the five-year-old goldendoodle of owner, Andy Doohan, earned the title of “Kansas City’s Best Shop Dog” from KC Magazine.
Mike’s Wine & Spirits is already Kansas City’s go-to for unique spirits, rare bourbons, limited production craft beers, and wine from around the world, but the Doohans (including Ramen) do not take these recognitions for granted.
